Hello, my name is Olivia Penley! It is my passion to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to learn at their own pace. I believe that students learn best when they are provided with personalized instruction that meets each of their individual needs. My goal as a tutor is to provide students with the utmost support, building them up with the knowledge that they bring, and pushing them to succeed and reach their goals! I look forward to working with you!
Teacher Specialization
I am a certified teacher in the state of North Carolina, where I graduated from Western Carolina University (Go Cats!). My first year teaching, I had the privilege of teaching 3rd grade where I taught all subjects. In my second year, I was given the opportunity to teach as an Academic Interventionist. In this role, I focused and specialized in tiered math and reading support for grades K-6!
