Bio
Hello! My name is Paul Nigro. I worked as an elementary teacher in grades two, three and four for eleven years. I then became an elementary principal for twenty years until my recent retirement. I love working with students and teachers. As a life-long teacher/principal, I love all elementary students and especially love teaching those who struggle in class staying focused. I was one of those boys when I was a student and know how important the relationship with a teacher who cares can make in a child's life.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught in second, third and fourth grades the following subjects: math, reading, writing, social studies and science. I was a classroom teacher for eleven years. As an elementary principal for the past twenty years I was the educational leader working closely with my teachers, formally observing their lessons and guiding their instruction. This was focused in grades four and five. Starting in 2020, I was instrumental in the adaptation of using Google Meet for virtual instruction. We continued this practice for tutoring after school and conferences. I hold two Master's Degrees: one in Elementary Education and a second in School Administration.
