Bio
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Pauline. I have taught French to students from elementary school through high school. As a French-American dual national who has lived in both France and Belgium, I am fluent in French and have a deep appreciation for the cultures of the French-speaking world. Students learn best when they feel supported, engaged, and confident in their ability to communicate. My goal is to make French approachable by connecting language learning to real-life situations, culture, and students’ individual interests and goals. I see tutoring as a collaborative process: I listen carefully to each student, identify areas of strength and difficulty, and adapt my instruction accordingly.I provide specific, constructive feedback that helps students improve . Outside of teaching, I love to read, paint, and play the piano. I look forward to getting to know each student and helping them reach their goals!
Teacher Specialization
I have experience teaching French to students from elementary school through high school, including French 3, accelerated and Business French. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching with a major in Teaching – French P–12, as well as New Jersey certification to teach French in grades P–12.
