Bio
Howdy, Everybody! My name is Rachel Tuck and I'm looking forward to getting to know you! To tell you a little about me - I'm from a city just outside of Houston, Texas. I've been married to my sweetheart for just over 27 years, and we have two adult children, one high schooler, two fur babies and two feathered babies. I've been both a public school mom and a home school mom, so I understand the unique challenges of both. I believe that students can absolutely learn and excel when they're met where they are in their educational journey. I'm excited for the opportunity to tailor lessons to meet your individual needs and help you succeed! You've got this! I look forward to seeing you in my classroom!
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University. I'm a certified teacher with endorsements in Elementary Early Childhood Education, Elementary Math, Elementary Reading, and Elementary Self-Contained. I have four years brick-and-mortar teaching experience in public school and three years homeschooling. I took several years off to stay home with my children and spent the last 15 plus years in volunteer positions working with children and teens.
