Hi! I'm Ms. Connor. Though I have lived many places, I currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I love to spend time with my family, eat great food, and have an adventure!! I am looking forward to working together! I believe that every student can learn - it is simply a matter of finding the connection. I employ strategies that cater to a student's unique learning background, and I empower my students to advocate for themselves in and outside the classroom. Tutoring embodies my philosophy of having fun, working hard, and confronting challenges to accomplish great things! In my 7 years of teaching in both the traditional and virtual classroom, I have learned so much about my students, and now I'm excited to learn more about you!
Teacher Specialization
After earning my bachelor's degree in English Language Arts Education, I've had the unique pleasure of teaching English Language Arts to every single grade between 5th to 12th grade across 5 states. I have enjoyed teaching within both the private and public sectors, instructing in general, cotaught, and advanced placement classrooms. I am certified to teach English Language Arts to students in 4th-12th grade, with Reading 3 and Special Education ancillary credits.
