Aloha! My name is Mrs. Roybal and I am excited to be a tutor with K12 Tutoring. I am originally from Hawaii and I like to think that I've taken that aloha spirit with me in the different places I've lived and travelled. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students grow academically and personally by creating a supportive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment. I strive to make sure I understand the needs of my students and tailor teaching to the student. My goal is to help you move towards your highest potential! I believe that every student has unique strengths, and I am committed to recognizing and nurturing those qualities in each individual I work with. I can't wait to be a partner in your learning!
Teacher Specialization
I spent 20+ years in the Information Technology field before returning back to school to earn a Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Teaching turned out to be my true passion! I have over 14 years teaching in the elementary school setting in all areas including reading, math, science, and social studies.
