Bio
I have taught History as well as Science, Math, English, subjects in independent study programs, delivering both whole-group instruction and individualized academic support. My tutoring experience includes working one-on-one and in small groups to strengthen content knowledge, improve study skills, and build student confidence. I adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs, and helping students achieve meaningful academic growth through clear communication, patience, and consistent support. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy history, museums, fitness, hiking, chess, and baseball.
Teacher Specialization
I am a California-certified secondary educator with experience teaching middle and high school students in both traditional and independent study settings. I hold a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Economics and a Master's in Education from Cal Poly Pomona. I am someone who knows that with a caring and patient tutor a student can excel in any subject they are struggling in. I look forward to working with and succeeding with you!
