Bio
Students learn best when they know that they are with a person who believes in them and gives them a chance to shine. Parents know that their children are growing when they see this growth in their children. In tutoring, I want my students to build their confidence and ensure they have the tools they need to tackle new problems. I always work hard to remain calm with students and focus on what they are doing well before I begin coaching on what they can improve on. I always love being surprised by the cleverness of my students. I am also a world traveler and caring father. I have lived in 3 countries, and travelled across the US and the world. I love tutoring online because I feel like the online space is the best place for me to express myself and build on my strengths as an educator.
Teacher Specialization
I have a degree in Elementary Education and 5 years of experience teaching in classroom. These classrooms had students from 3rd-5th grade. I specialized in teaching them Math, Reading, and Science. I have now been an online tutor for 3 years. As an online tutor, I have taught many students to grow in early literacy, reading, and mathamatics. These students range from Kindergarten to 9th grade.
