Hello! I’m Robert, and I’m excited to partner with your family. I’m a passionate, experienced educator—7 years as a middle-school science teacher and 2 years as a vice principal—with California teaching and administrative credentials. I meet students where they are and set clear, personalized goals we can celebrate. Strengths: NGSS science (grades 6–9), study skills, and executive-function support. My sessions use quick micro-starts, bite-size explanations, short focus bursts, and real-world hooks. I keep lessons interactive with shared whiteboards, Google Docs organizers, and checklists, and I send concise updates so families know progress and next steps. I’m especially experienced with ADHD and anxious learners, and I help turn “overwhelmed” into “I’ve got this.” Outside of teaching, I’m a science enthusiast and dog person (hi from Stella!). I can’t wait to help your student grow confidence and enjoy learning again!

I specialize in NGSS science for grades 6–9—chemistry, physics, ecology, labs, data analysis/graphing, and CER writing—with clear instruction and steady skill-building for quizzes and tests. I also support study skills and executive function for grades 6–10 (planning, task initiation, 25/5 focus blocks, checklists, binder/Drive organization), with ADHD-informed strategies.
