Bio

Hello, my name is Ms. Rosanne and I love being a tutor because I get to meet so many students and help them reach their learning goals. I believe in a student-centered learning approach. I like to use the I do, we do, you do instructional strategy with students to allow them to ask questions and have an active learning experience. I believe each student has their own unique learning style and ability and I work to meet them at their levels. I like to set 2 or 3 goals during each tutoring session with my students so they know the focus of the lesson and the things they can strive towards achieving in our time together. I am committed to having each one of my students reach their own potential and academic excellence. I enjoy and work hard to get to know each of my students so they feel comfortable in an online learning environment with me. I want them to feel supported and at ease to ask questions when they don't understand or need more guidance.

Teacher Specialization

I have six years of online teaching and tutoring experience and I come equipped with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience teaching students in a virtual environment. I have a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Training and Development. I feel I have the skills needed to teach and tutor in this unique environment to help students feel comfortable learning and I work hard with my students to make sure they feel confident using their preferred learning style.
