Hello friends! I am Mrs. Burnett. I believe EVERY student is capable of success, with the right tools! I know that math is not something that "comes naturally" to everyone, but I take joy in being able to help connect the dots and bring students an understanding of math. I will bring interactive activities to you that can help ease your struggles. I am excited to help you where you are with exactly what you need! When it is all said and done, I want YOU to be successful while still enjoying the process! We've got this!
Teacher Specialization
My teaching career started in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from West Texas A&M University. I have been teaching mathematics at various levels for over 10 years. I have been teaching virtually with Stride as a math interventionist since 2022. Before joining the online learning community, I taught middle & high school mathematics in brick-and-mortar schools. I have worked with students at every level of understanding, in co-teaching classrooms, and advanced placement classrooms.
