Bio
Hello! I’m excited to begin this learning journey with you and your child. I design personalized lessons that support each student’s growth, progress, and individual goals. I keep students engaged by meeting them where they are, building on their strengths, and helping them develop confidence every step of the way. I enjoy incorporating music and technology to make learning interactive and meaningful. Most importantly, I believe learning should be fun, so I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to take risks.
Teacher Specialization
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Reading. I maintain active Texas certifications in Core Subjects (EC–6 and 4–8), Special Education (EC–12), and English as a Second Language (EC–12), which allow me to support a wide range of learners across all core content areas. I have also taught at the university level. I have 14 years of experience in education, including 10 years in the classroom and 4 years as an instructional coach. I have taught in K–5 settings, including virtual and hybrid classrooms, as well as at the university level. Much of my work has focused on special education, where I have supported scholars with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning differences.
