Bio
Every child has a unique way of learning and I am happy to help them discover that while also facilitating a healthy and balanced approach to learning as a whole. I believe that students learn best when the material is interesting and relevant to their life. As a tutor, I make it a priority to learn about my student's interests, goals, and motivations in order to curate lessons that are aligned and fun. When I'm not working, I'm either reading or creating by sketching scenery, writing short stories, or painting. Education is my passion and I look forward to working with you as your tutor to help you reach your goals and succeed.
Teacher Specialization
I have been an educator for 4 years and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education with endorsements in ESOL and reading. I have taught third grade in both general education and special education elementary classrooms, but a portion of my teaching experience also comes from working with students of varying abilities from kindergarten to fifth grade in other roles such as an aftercare counselor, teacher assistant, reading coach, and online tutor.
