I'm a dedicated educator committed to fostering a positive and engaging student learning experience. With a passion for education and a belief in the transformative power of learning, I am excited to share a bit about my teaching philosophy and personality. My teaching philosophy revolves around the idea that education goes beyond the transfer of knowledge; it is a collaborative journey where both the student and the teacher actively participate. I believe in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and encouraged to express their unique perspectives. By catering to diverse learning styles and individual needs, I aim to instill a lifelong love of learning. I emphasize the importance of critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in my teaching approach.
Teacher Specialization
I have more than ten years of experience as an educator, most of which were spent teaching ELA and high school English. I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in English Literature and a minor in Education. In addition to being a teacher, I am certified as a library media specialist and have experience as an academic mentor.
