Bio
Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am excited to begin our learning together! I love what I do and I believe that all students are lifelong learners and will be successful and productive members of society. I believe in meeting all the needs of my learners and helping them reach their highest potential. My strengths include elementary education in all subjects. I engage students with having them take part in their learning by going through the gradual release of responsibility and having them take ownership in their learning. I also like to use different forms of technology to make the lessons more interactive and engaging. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
Teacher Specialization
As a current educator with 11 years of experience, I currently teach 2nd grade and I have previously taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades in the classroom. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am fully certified in EC-6th grades and have my ESL certification as well. I have experience with all subjects and have tutored online from kinder to 11th grades. My specialities also include test prep such as ISEE, STAAR, CogAT, HSPT, ERB, NWEA MAP, and other test preps.
