Bio
Hello, my name is Mr. Kirby. I am a retired teacher and have taught various science classes over the last 24 years. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. I worked for 8 years in an Environmental Laboratory. During my time teaching, I participated in the Pan-Starrs program and was credited with the discovery of a Near Earth Object – 2009 BD81. I believe that all students are capable of learning; some just need a little extra help at times.
Teacher Specialization
During my years of teaching, I have taught 8th Grade Earth Science, Integrated Physic and Chemistry (IPC), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Space, and Environmental Science. I have worked with students both in person and remotely as was required during COVID. My tutoring experience actually predates my time teaching. I have tutored students from the time I was in High School through today.
