Bio
I believe when students get past route memorization and really learn the "why" behind how things work, learning can become so much more interesting and meaningful. I believe hands on activities, visuals and self discovery activities can all help to understand and grasp material at a deeper level. My goal is to make math fun! I believe with the right tools anyone can gain confidence and be successful in math. I believe our brains have far more potential than we realize. Anyone can do math, and there is always a way to get past any obstacle and become successful and confident. I am really passionate about teaching. I really love the fulfillment I get when I see a student finally succeed at something they struggled with.
Teacher Specialization
I have a degree in Math with an emphasis in Physics. I have 10 years of experience tutoring math online, and I have tutored every level of Math from Kindergarten, Middle School, High School and College. With my Physics background I also like to tutor Elementary School and Middle School Science. I also have a lot of experience working with students who have ADHD or autism as well as other learning disabilities. I also did 15 years of very serious violin study, and started a degree in music, and can help tutor any music needs.
