Bio

I am an educator based in South Carolina. I have taught in a variety of classrooms throughout my 17 year career. 13 years of experience was in brick and mortar settings, and the last 4 years have been in virtual settings. I love to "travel" to new states when teaching. I am married and mother to 4 daughters. I enjoy reading, helping others, and learning new things each day. My educational philosophy is to be a lifelong learner throughout my career. I continue to take on new responsibilities to add to my teacher toolbox. My tutoring goal is to help students learn a new skill, and build confidence in those skills. Watching students build independence and life skills is my mission. I have enjoyed my time teaching and building connections with students. I work hard to show students that I care by getting to know each student and their needs. I am caring, dedicated, patient, and encouraging with my students. Students respond best with teachers who truly care about them.
