Bio
As an experienced educator, I bring over 10 years of teaching expertise to students with a focus on English Language Arts. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse learners from a wide range of backgrounds and with varying academic needs. Whether supporting struggling readers, challenging advanced writers, or guiding English language learners, I tailor my instruction to help every student grow in confidence and skill. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that meaningful learning happens when students feel both supported and challenged. I prioritize building strong relationships with my students, creating a safe and trusting environment where they feel seen, heard, and motivated to take academic risks. At the same time, I hold high expectations and promote a learning process that develops critical thinking, effective communication, and a lifelong appreciation for reading and writing - beyond the classroom.
