Hi! My name is Tori, and I am a passionate educator who believes every student can succeed when they feel supported and understood. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and growing academically. I have experience working with a wide range of learners and enjoy helping students build both their skills and confidence. My teaching philosophy focuses on meeting students where they are, using clear instruction, patience, and creative strategies to help them master new concepts. In addition to teaching, I value building strong relationships with students and families. My goal is to help every student feel capable and proud of their progress.
Teacher Specialization
I have 10+ years of teaching and tutoring 6th to 8th grade math. My teaching specialty is 8th grade math but I have experience with 6th grade, 7th grade, and even some early high school math. I have a bachelor's degree in middle school education with a focus area of math. I am new to the virtual teaching world, however I have been teaching in person for the past 10 years.
