Hi, my name is Tuesday Knight, sometimes people joke that I married my husband for his last name. I started teaching because of my youngest son who was on the autism spectrum as I wanted to help him better and help other kids like him. I’m a supportive tutor who believes every student can grow. I focus on creating a positive, engaging learning environment and helping students build confidence. My goal is to reduce frustration and create clarity by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps. I connect with learners by listening, encouraging progress, and tailoring lessons to their unique needs.
Teacher Specialization
I have 3 years of experience in education, including teaching 8th grade special education and kindergarten special education, as well as leading structured virtual classes and individualized online lessons. I focus on making learning clear, accessible, and engaging through patient, step-by-step instruction. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in K–12 Special Education and am currently earning my Master’s degree in Special Education/Applied Behavior Analysis. I specialize in supporting diverse learners by breaking down skills into simple, manageable parts and helping students build confidence through structured guidance.
