Hi! I'm Mrs. Hughes. I have many years of experience working with students and helping them to be successful both academically and socially. I enjoy building a rapport with students that helps them learn they can accomplish anything with a little more time and effort.
Teacher Specialization
I have been in education for 17 years now. I am certified to teach K-6 grades. I am also certified in 6-8 English & SS. After receiving my Masters in Education in School Counseling, I have worked in many different grade levels. I feel that my experience as a school counselor has helped me to build relationships with students that helps them to be motivated to learn. I have experience working with students particularly on reading comprehension, writing, and math.
