Bio

Hello, my name is Vanessa Insua, and I am an elementary school teacher. I am excited to work with you to help you achieve your academic goals. I chose to become a tutor because I know that we all learn differently, and being able to support students one-on-one or in a small group setting will better help them achieve their educational goals. I am here to set my students up for success, and that begins with building a positive learning environment where my students are encouraged, challenged, and not afraid to participate. Learning should be fun!

Teacher Specialization

I am a certified educator with 20 years of classroom experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Director’s Credential Certificate. I have taught Preschool students through third grade. I have also worked as a director for a daycare and private school. I am bilingual, being fluent in both English and Spanish. I have experience working with ESOL students (English speakers of other languages) and have taught English to students of other languages.
