Hello! My name is Vanessa, and I am excited to be your tutor! I have taught elementary school for ten years. My teaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive and engaging learning environment, where students feel free to ask questions and build the confidence to explore new learning tasks. I believe in meeting students where they are and adapting my teaching strategies to meet their specific needs. As your tutor, I look forward to working with you to achieve academic success!
Teacher Specialization
I have ten years experience teaching elementary students reading, math, science, and social studies. I earned a Master of Arts in Education from Shorter University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. My dedication to the success of my students afforded me the opportunity to be voted as Teacher of the Year for 2021 - 2022 school year.
