Bio
I firmly believe every scholar can learn; we just have to figure out what works best for them. Throughout this learning process we will build up their confidence, celebrate successes and set goals to continue learning. Learning should be fun and exciting. We will play games, learn new strategies, and explore challenges. Together we will determine what works best and how to apply these skills to other areas. As I learn more about each scholar, I build their favorite things into lessons to keep them engaged and interested. We will build upon their strengths and grow their areas of need. I have developed a love for learning, and I enjoy helping others learn. I want to help you develop a love for learning too!
Teacher Specialization
I have been in education for 20 years working with scholars in grades K-8. I have experience teaching all subjects and have a lot of great strategies to share. I have degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership and endorsements in Reading, Structured English Immersion, and Early Childhood (birth- Age 8).
