Bio
My name is Vickie Brown. I live in Texas. I love going to church and getting involved in different ministries there and in my community. I have one daughter who I love very much and love to support her in all her endeavors. I have been married to a most wonderful man for over 20 years. I love tutoring and believe students learn best when they are having fun and the task feels manageable and not overwhelming. I also believe it is vital to communicate effectively with students and families to support on going progress. I deliver individualized tutoring support aligned to student needs and academic goals. I adapt teaching methods for the virtual/online learning environment. I maintain student engagement through interactive and structured online sessions. I am warm and approachable to my students and develop a fun meaningful relationship with them by engaging in conversation about their likes/dislikes. I enhance learning by using scenarios that interest them.
