Bio
Hi, My name is Waduda Amantullah. I currently live in New York, however, I am from the South Eastern region of the USA. I believe all people/students can learn, it is just a matter of access and a competent instructor. During my years as a teacher there have been many moments in which I have been exceedingly proud to be a teacher. One the greatest achievement of my years being an educator is helping the students discover their academic abilities and break through their academic barriers. Being a teacher has been one of the most gratifying parts of my life. I have been awarded and recognized for my perseverance and dedication as an educator. As a teacher I am stern and caring. My expectations for all students are high. All students have the ability to learn.
Teacher Specialization
I have 12 years of teaching experience. Two out of the twelve years I taught 5th grade math and history online. Additionally, I taught 3rd and 5th grade all content, 9th-12th grade collaborative ELA(Special Education), collaborative Algebra 1, and Resource Room (Intervention 9th, 11th, and 12th special education services). I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education and my masters degree in Special Education and Behavior Intervention. Additionally, I am certified in reading intervention and Gifted and Talented Education. General education PreK-6, Special education K-12, Gifted Education K-12, Reading interventionist. Specialties: ADHD, ASD/Autism, DMDD, ODD, Mood Disorders, Learning Disabilities.
