Hello! I'm Ms. Cyriaque, I believe education is the foundation for life and every child deserves an education that caters to their needs and encourages them to want to learn more. My goal is to make students feel better leaving than they did coming in. I want them to gain the skill of recognizing where they fall short and how to ask for the proper help for their specific issue. My goal is to build an environment and relationship with a student that makes them feel open and comfortable enough where they don't feel shame for not knowing something and instead feel optimism for the ability and chance to learn something new. I'm an avid reader, my favorite book is, "she would be king" and my favorite book series is The Hunger Games. I'm adventurous, I've canoed next to alligators and have seen wild monkeys while hiking. I've done a study abroad trip to ireland, it was the first time I'd ever left Florida. My passion is to help students gain an understanding of their education.
Teacher Specialization
I've been an educator for 4 years, a teaching assistant for 3 years, and a tutor for 7+ years. I am well equipped to help with reading, english, and social studies. Education is the foundation for life and I believe every child deserves an education that caters to their needs and encourages them to want to learn more. I currently teach AICE English Language and previously taught intensive english. My degree is in AP Secondary Social Science education.
