Bio
Hello! I am so excited to learn with you! My name is Mrs. McGuire and I have been a teacher all over the world! I have lived in Germany, South Korea, and just moved back to the United States. One of my favorite hobbies is reading and I know I can help you love reading too. I love to game-ify instruction whenever possible so that learning is engaging and you will be looking forward to our next session. My goal is to start by completing a task together, then giving you the tools so you feel confident solving a problem or using a skill on your own. I hope to get to know your interests and strengths so each of our sessions together are positive and leave you feeling like a rockstar!! I am looking forward to seeing you, let's get LEARNING!
Teacher Specialization
I have taught in several different settings including an open-concept school, and teaching English online. I am flexible and confident in teaching in traditional and nontraditional settings. I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech and recently received a Master's in Literacy Education. Although my passion is literacy, I have math skills in my toolbox as well and had 100% growth in my classroom last year. I am looking forward to the experience of supporting your learning through K12 Tutoring!
