Hello! My name is Mrs. Fields. I have been an educator for the past 10 years. My passion is reading and the foundations of reading being taught. I believe that all children can learn. I like my lessons to be interactive and engaging throughout so that students can love being in the classes but also learn while having fun. Whatever you are looking for support with, I am here to help. I focus our tutoring sessions around a gradual release model where I model a skill, then WE try the skill together, then YOU try!
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for the past 10 years. I started out my career as a kindergarten teacher where I taught for 3 years, then moved to 2nd grade, and then 3rd grade. My master's is in Early Childhood Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. I have been teaching special education for the past 5 years.
