Bio
Hi I'm Ms. Gilbert, my goal is to help students fall in love with the process of learning. I love building relationships with students and getting to know them. I think this helps children feel more comfortable learning and willing to take chances without fear of making mistakes. I can't wait to get to work with you and your student!
Teacher Specialization
I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from FGCU specializing in k-6th grade. I have taught for the past 6 years in elementary school. I spent two years in 5th grade and four years in 4th grade. In my time teaching I have worked with students who have various learning disabilities, gifted students, and students who are learning English for the first time.
