Bio
Greetings! My name is Amy Slater and I'm thrilled to work with you as your tutor! I can be described as warm, friendly, and encouraging with students. I want students to feel comfortable working with me. It's ok to make mistakes because that means you're learning! I have experience both teaching in person and online, as well as at a tutoring center. I'm always striving to learn more, and encourage my students to ask questions as well. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and hanging out with my rabbits. I volunteer with local rabbit rescues in Michigan.

I have been an online Spanish instructor for the last 6 years. I also have taught in Brick and Mortar schools as an Elementary and Middle School Spanish Teacher; Third Grade Classroom Teacher, and Eighth Grade English Language Arts Teacher. I also have worked at a local tutoring center, where I have worked with a variety of students tutoring mostly in Reading, Math and Writing. I have my Bachelor's Degree from Oakland University and my Master's Degree from Saginaw Valley State University.
