Bio
Hi! I’m Ana Robles, a dedicated teacher who believes education is a powerful tool for building confidence, critical thinking, and lifelong curiosity. I see learning as an active process where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. My educational philosophy centers on clarity and empowerment. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than memorizing answers, so they can apply knowledge independently. As a tutor, my goal is to strengthen both academic skills and self-confidence. I build supportive relationships by listening actively, encouraging open communication, and creating a respectful environment where students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
Teacher Specialization
I am a bilingual educator with 4 years of experience teaching in both dual language and monolingual settings. I have worked with students across all elementary grade levels, K–5, supporting diverse learners in developing strong academic foundations. I hold teaching certifications in Texas and New Mexico. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from UTEP and have completed all mandated Science of Reading coursework. I also hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UTEP. I gained virtual teaching experience during my student teaching year throughout COVID, where I delivered instruction online and adapted lessons to maintain engagement and academic growth in a remote environment.
