Bio
Hi, I’m Andrew Keefe, an educator with nearly a decade of special education experience. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, strategies, and encouragement. My approach focuses on individualized, structured learning that builds confidence and fosters growth. I’ve served as a Special Education Teacher, Program Manager, and Department Lead, specializing in IEP development, behavior management, small group instruction, and curriculum adaptation. As an IEP Coach, I guide special education teachers across multiple schools to ensure students receive the support they need. I hold an Ed.S. in K-12 Leadership, an M.A. in Special Education, and dual B.A.s in Early Childhood Development and Liberal Studies. I’ve also passed the NES Special Education, Praxis I, and NES Professional Knowledge Exams. As a tutor, I’m patient, adaptable, and student-centered, tailoring lessons to individual needs while fostering curiosity and confidence.

My teaching experience includes instructing students in self-contained and resource settings, implementing specialized instruction for various disabilities, and promoting positive behavior strategies. Currently, as an IEP Coach, I support special education teachers across multiple schools, ensuring compliance and effective instruction.
