Hello! I am a passionate and dedicated educator who believes that learning flourishes when it's connected to a student's personal interests and strengths. My teaching philosophy is centered on challenging students and sparking their natural curiosity by making genuine connections to what they love, whether it's great books, films, music, or personal stories. In our sessions, I create a supportive and dynamic atmosphere where students feel empowered to use their strengths as a bridge to build confidence and tackle new concepts. My goal is to make learning feel like an exciting adventure, not a chore.

I bring 33 years of professional experience as an educator to my tutoring practice. My comprehensive background includes teaching all core subjects for elementary grades 1 through 5. Additionally, I have specialized experience providing online instruction to both English and Spanish language learners.
