Bio
I'm Mrs. Dove and I enjoy nature walk, running events, and the gym. I value spending time with my family so we take lots of trips to the beach when the weather is nice. I lived in Alaska for 4 years and it was an amazing nature experience. I chose to become a tutor because I get excited about seeing growth in my students. I believe learning should engaging. Students learn best when are interested in what they are learning. As the teacher, I will build on the student's strengths and eliminate weaknesses. My goal is to build confidence in the learner so that they become independent scholars. This goal will create critical thinkers and spark creativity. It's important that our relationship is positive and meaningful.
Teacher Specialization
Literacy Support Teacher for Grade K-2. Tutored and taught Grade K-6, LETRS training completed. Tutored English Language Learners online. Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Hampton University. Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Midlands Technical College. Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Literacy.
