Bio

Hi! I am Annette and I am a former teacher and administrator in K-8 public education in North Carolina. Currently, I work for a curriculum company doing internal Learning & Development for our team. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into clear, engaging lessons that build confidence and mastery. With a background in curriculum design, instructional technology, and individualized support, I create tailored learning experiences that meet each student’s needs. I believe in fostering a student-centered environment that encourages personal growth, critical thinking, and a passion for learning. My goal is to empower students with the skills they need to succeed academically and become independent thinkers. By adapting my approach to each student’s learning style, I help them overcome challenges, exceed growth goals, and build lifelong confidence in their abilities.

Teacher Specialization

Seasoned K-6 educator with over a decade of experience helping students thrive in math, English, science, and social studies. I specialize in teaching and tutoring students in grades K-6, with a strong focus on building foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking. I have tutored in-person and virtually in the past as well as served as an administrator during virtual learning. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Pre-Law from Clarion University in PA and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from NC State University. My specialization is in K-5 mathematics.
