Bio
Hello. I enjoy walking my dog, going to the gym, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I chose to become a tutor because I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts and gain confidence in their abilities. My motivation in education comes from seeing students grow academically and personally when they feel supported, encouraged, and capable of success. I believe students learn best through active, supportive instruction that adapts to their individual needs, combining clear explanations, guided practice, and real-world connections while differentiating pace and strategies to build confidence and independence. As a tutor, I value growth-focused evaluation by providing timely, specific feedback that highlights strengths, addresses misconceptions, and encourages reflection, fostering a respectful, student-centered learning environment where effort and progress are prioritized.
Teacher Specialization
I taught for 4 years in grades K-3. During my time in college to become a teacher, I worked in a preschool for 3 years working with children from 0-5 years old. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary education and I also have my Reading and ESOL endorsements.
