Bio
Hello, my name is Ashley Mabury and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Missouri Digital Academy. I have been married to my husband Shayn for 13 years and together we have 3 daughters: Shayley, Aynsley, and Tinsley. We have two dogs: Rudy and Scout. We have two cats: Daisy and Oreo. We love playing games as a family and watching all sports together. I believe students learn best by visual, hands-on learning. I will provide visual feedback to my students by working the problem out with them. My goal in becoming a tutor is to help students gain their confidence and passion for learning. I aim to build positive meaningful relationships with both my students and their families. I love watching each child learn and grow in their own unique way.
Teacher Specialization
This is my 5th year teaching, but my 18th year in Education. I have a B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a M.A. from Southeast Missouri State University. I have experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade. I was a Education Specialist for a Head Start for 5 years. I love working with children in a group setting and 1:1.
