Bio
My name is Brooke and I've taught for 2 years, and tutored for 3. I became a tutor because my passion is teaching, and I love to watch students believe that students deserve not only an education but also someone who is able to meet their specific needs. If a student has a learning disability or difficulty with a subject, I want to figure out what is required for their success. I want to provide an environment of comfortability and exploration. Every student deserves to not only understand the material but also feel comfortable enough to express It. A student should be able to feel good enough to push themselves and feel supported through that. Everyone wants to be heard, no matter their age. I strive to be a professional who listens and adjusts when needed. I want students to feel safe enough to express their feelings about their learning timelines and if something needs to be changed.
Teacher Specialization
I have my early childhood education degree. I've taught for two years professionally and tutored for three. I taught specifically both Pre K and Kindergarten but have tutored K-3rd grade. I love to help learn in ways that can be both concrete and enjoyable!
