Bio

Hello! My name is Carla Johnson. Learning math should be FUN! Math can be challenging; but I have spent many years as a seasoned and passionate (and fun) teacher breaking math into small bits so students can master each step. As a high school student, I did great in math...BUT...only because I was fortunate to have good math teachers who were able to break math into stepping-stones so I could master each step and confidently move forward to the next math concept. I was so appreciative of my high school teachers that I decided to become a high school math teacher so I could help students gain confidence and enjoy their math journey. Learning math may requires extra practice; I believe that math should be individualized so students can get the support that they need at any step in the process. I am able to meet you where you are; and guide/facilitate you to your next math challenge.
