Hi, I'm Carie aka Ms. C! I look forward to helping your child/student further succeed with effective tutoring here at K12. The following words would describe my personality: encouraging, relatable, goofy, helpful and direct. When I’m not teaching or tutoring, I’m doing photography work, focusing on health and wellness, or spending time with my loved ones. I have experience working in a variety of settings and utilizing various instructional support strategies as an educator. It's important to me that my students feel heard and valued and it’s also important to me that they stay on task, learn, and make gains during our session time. I love to see students grow academically, make real life connections, develop a positive growth mindset (from “I can’t” to “I can!”), and gain confidence in their learning skills.
