Bio
As a Haitian American educator who speaks Haitian Creole, I believe every child deserves a champion who sees their potential. My teaching is built on real relationships; I want my students to feel safe making mistakes because that is how we grow. I am a data-driven teacher who uses diagnostics to find exactly where your child has educational gaps, especially in Math and Reading, so we can use early intervention to get them back on track before challenges become overwhelming. I am passionate about making learning visual and easy to understand by bringing my background in graphic design, singing, and drawing into our sessions. Whether we are tackling math, writing, or science, I personalize every lesson to fit your child's interests and give them the confidence to tackle the unknown with a clear, research-based plan for success.
Teacher Specialization
With over six years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Education, I’ve taught every elementary grade from K–5, both in person and virtually. Grade-Level Expertise: Primary (K–2): Specialized in early intervention, 1st-grade virtual instruction, and 2nd-grade core fundamentals. Upper Elementary (3–5): Focused expertise in 4th-grade Math and 5th-grade all-subject instruction. Specialized Programs: Extensive experience in summer intensive tutoring for English Language Learners (ELL) and students requiring academic recovery to meet promotion requirements. The "Whole-Child" Edge Having taught K–5 Music, I bring a unique rhythmic and creative energy to my core subject tutoring. This allows me to integrate multi-sensory techniques that make Math and Literacy stick, regardless of a student's prior struggles.
