Bio
Parents and students, I am excited about the opportunity to support you on your journey to academic success. I am a "seasoned" educator with more than 25 years of experience at the elementary, secondary, postsecondary and continuing education levels, and after all these years, I am still excited about every class and every student I teach! My specialty areas include elementary English Language Arts, elementary math, middle school English Language Arts, essay writing, grammar and mechanics at all levels, and ESL. My goal is to challenge the student while at the same time building confidence and having a little fun along the way. I do this by employing just the right combination of instruction, patience and love on an individual basis as each student requires a personalized academic recipe for success. I hold undergraduate, graduate and terminal degrees in Education. My specializations include Elementary English Language Arts , Elementary Math, Middle Grades English Language Arts, Essay Writing, Grammar and Mechanics, and ESL Language Arts and Math. I have 6 years of experience in Secondary English, 15 years of experience in Dual Enrollment and Post-secondary English Composition, 10 years of experience in Elementary, Secondary and Post-secondary Math, and more than 10 years of experience instructing students in both hybrid and online learning environments.
