Bio
I believe all students can achieve great things! Students learn best when they understand the real-world application of information. I provide students with feedback and affirmation so they can build their confidence. In our tutoring sessions, students will gain confidence, practice problem-solving and critical thinking, and deepen their understanding of content. Connecting with kids is my super power! My students always feel loved and supported by me and they know they can come to me for help. I treat students with respect, I am caring and attentive, and always find ways to connect on their level. I have lived in France and China, and I love learning languages. I have a 2.5 year old corgi. I love to run and spend time outside. I became a tutor so I could continue helping students learn even when I'm not in the classroom!
Teacher Specialization
After graduating with 2 bachelor's degrees in French and Science Education, I spent one year teaching English as a Second language in China. During my first 2 years teaching all subjects in a 5th-grade classroom, I completed my master's degree in Education. My master's focused on Curriculum and Instruction. I have been a multi-subject elementary classroom teacher for 8 years. I have taught 3rd and 2nd, but have worked with students of all ages.
