Hello! I am so excited to get to know you and your learner! I am fluent in English and Spanish and am very passionate about guiding each student to their fullest potential. I truly believe that every person is capable of learning and growing, and love to celebrate every milestone along the way. My teaching philosophy centers on the idea that learning should be fun and learners should feel confident, valued, and empowered. Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Aurora University, and a Master's degree in Reading from Illinois State University. I have worked as a bilingual classroom teacher for 5 years and a bilingual academic interventionist (reading/writing and math) for 12 years. For the past 3 years I have also been an online tutor for students in grades 2 through 7.
