I believe effective learning is differentiated learning. Students thrive when lessons are customized to meet their individual engagement and learning styles. My commitment is to continually assess student progress to ensure they are moving steadily toward their academic goals. During each session, I strive for students to achieve at least two concrete goals that are precisely aligned with their specific learning needs. Building a strong rapport is foundational to my approach. I grow relationships with students by using genuine check-in questions, celebrating important life events, and incorporating fun, educational games. I am a retired public school teacher and administrator with over 27 years of experience. I now dedicate my decades of expertise to helping students achieve significant academic success.
Teacher Specialization
I hold advanced degrees in education and leadership, and I’m certified to teach K–8 English Language Arts and Social Studies. I specialize in making online learning fun, interactive, and personalized. Each session includes movement, games, check-ins, and hands-on activities to keep your child engaged. I also use pre- and post-assessments to track progress and tailor lessons to your child’s unique needs. Most importantly, I believe in building strong relationships—with students and families. I create a safe, welcoming space where your child can feel confident, supported, and excited to learn.
