Bio
I am an experienced English teacher who believes that with the right guidance, any student can be a successful reader and writer. I have taught for 22 years in the traditional English Language Arts high school and middle school classroom, earning the Teacher of the Year Award in my 4th year of teaching. I have a Master’s degree in Education in Curriculum & Instruction from AIU- Online and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Kean University. I hold a permanent teaching license in the state of New York in English for grades 7-12. I like providing step by step guidance for students to make their understanding clear to help them build their confidence!
Teacher Specialization
I started teaching and tutoring 22 years ago in 2003 to mostly high school students, but also middle school, elementary, and even adult teachers overseas in China for a summer. I have also taught and tutored home-schooled students in their home. I have been teaching and tutoring online for 6 years now since 2019.
