Bio
I am an educator with a passion for cultivating meaningful learning environments rooted in compassion, clarity, and connection. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that students learn best when they feel seen, supported, and intellectually challenged. Education, to me, is not simply the transfer of information, but the formation of critical thinkers, ethical citizens, and confident learners.
Teacher Specialization
I have 6 years of teaching experience in math, reading, writing, social studies, and science. I am experienced in blended and online learning, using digital tools to personalize instruction, track progress, and keep students engaged. I am well versed at adapting lessons for virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings while maintaining clear communication with families and a supportive learning environment for students. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Milligan University, a Master's of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University, and I hold a Texas Education teaching certificate for EC-6 and English as a Second Language.
