Bio
Hi! I’m Destany, I adore working with early learners — helping them crack the reading code, build confidence in math, and believe in themselves as learners. My teaching style is warm, structured, and supportive. I meet students right where they are and help them grow through clear instruction, encouragement, and consistency. I started tutoring because I truly love watching students have those “lightbulb moments.” My goal is to make learning feel achievable, positive, and tailored to each child. I would love to work with your family and help your child feel confident and capable.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a K-8 Licensed teacher for the past 3 years, however, my experience in education dates back to 2014 working with grades K-3. I am an AVID trained teacher with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am currently in my Master program for English Language Development. My expected graduation date is May 2026.
